Happy New Year! 🙂
Yes, I know I still owe a ‘proper’ New Year post – the one about wrapping 2007 up and my insights into 2008. I’ve been working around the clock on IMGuerilla with Vince Tan and the launch day is just tomorrow!
I’ve also yet to add a couple more new photos to the previous post on the Life Changing Party but I promise I’ll get back to that after IMGuerilla successfully launches.
However, I’m not passing up the chance to proudly announce that… an article on my Internet Marketing career was published in the local papers today!
Check this out! 🙂
If you’re staying in Malaysia and you’re grabbing a copy of The Star paper today, you can find my article in the EDUCATION section – on Page E4, to be exact. There’s also a partial mention of my upcoming launch, IMGuerilla, in the newspaper article.
Yep! I was interviewed by The Star some couple of weeks back (thanks Sarah Chew!) on my Internet Marketing career and theme was ‘interesting careers’. If you’re a practicing Internet Marketer and Online Entrepreneur, sure you know it too. 😉
I couldn’t help but notice that some parts of the content was a little bit ‘way off’ and some of the information transcribed on the paper was not accurate. Some parts of it could use better choice of words, too, in my opinion. However, I’m still satisfied with how it turned out, as long as the main message is conveyed and that’s the most important bottom-line.
I am very happy that the article got published and the feeling sure is great! 🙂 Previously, I never knew what it’s like to appear on any section of the paper, but just know it sure is a great feeling. Just never thought I would experience it, and sooner than expected. I also hope that the article has helped and inspired the readers as well in positive ways.
Now to strive for appearing on the front page (for the right reasons). 😎
You can see the online version of the article here too.
*** UPDATE 9th January 2008: *** I had been busy with the IMGuerilla launch but I would like to take this 5 minutes to thank everyone – friends, family and ‘comrades’ – for sending me your congrats! Thanks for the e-mails, messages and SMSes because they’re truly motivating too! 🙂 Thank you once again!
