Tandem Paragliding At Bukit Jugra For The Second Time

Yep. My second time in two years!

This time I drove to Bukit Jugra with Alyssa. Our pilot was Rahim, an experienced paraglider since 2004.

It was a hot, sunny Saturday but wind and weather was good for flying and we didn’t wait that long.

Also, I came prepared with my own GoPro cameras so we didn’t have to wait to download/upload the videos (that was what happened previously with a bigger group of friends – we finished the paragliding early but waited several hours for this)

It was good fun and peaceful up there, nice and relaxing flying experience!

Videos we took…

I had uploaded some videos and photos on Instagram Stories and Facebook, and a few friends already expressed interest in doing it too!

I think I’ll be back again sooner than I thought! 🙂

It’s Good To Be Back

And a different ride for the year, after being without a car for two months.

(By the way, either my parking skill is terrible or it’s really narrow for the car to park inside…)

UPDATE 2nd June 2017: Had the brake pads replaced, iDrive and map updated, and installed the M Sport bodykit (front bumper, rear bumper and side skirt)

I am going to enjoy this ride for while!

Dallas – Higher Purpose Mastermind

Initially I was going to head back to Malaysia on 19th May. Then Oliver Talamayan informed me of a Mastermind just around the corner – 19th – 22nd May in Dallas, Texas.

So I made a detour and extended my stay. I might as well, since I’m already on the other side of the planet I should make the most of my trip here.

Unlike the Vegas and LA chapter, I was in the house most of the time; I didn’t really go anywhere else beyond the convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance.

The 3 days proved to be productive and made up for the past two weeks of just going from place to place.

The Mastermind had just about 9-10 people; on Day 2 Justin Beasley was invited to share his insights on E-Commerce. His prime record to date: $1.7 Million sales in 50 days!

I had my next level High Ticket and business game plan nailed down while I was here, and with a 30 25 hour flight back to Malaysia I found the time to finally read up two books (Trust Funnel and DotComSecrets) cover to cover, something I had put off for a long time.

… And that’s it for my US trip this year!

Los Angeles Revisited – The Americana Life!

After the Bug Free Mastermind and a week in Vegas, Isabel, Adrian and I went back to Los Angeles and this was to be the second part of our trip.

This was to be more of a leisure trip and we started our LA chapter with a BMW 6-series rented from Sixt.

3.0L twin-turbo engine.. gotta love the sound of the engine screaming when you hit the Sports+ mode!

Car is wide and because almost everything was inverted, it took more than a day to get used to driving here (gotta say, drivers in LA are worse than in Malaysia!)

We visited Winter and Anastasia first and checked out the Griffith Observatory. Huey swung by later.

The following day we met up with Huey again in Hollywood…

LACMA at night

Revisited the Universal Studios. This time I got to see more of it as we had almost the whole day here!

Posing with the 6-series…

Concluded the LA trip with a visit to Paul Hoffman‘s place in Marina del Rey.

So glad to see more of LA this time!

It was time for Isabel and Adrian to fly back to Singapore. But for me, I still have one more place to go – Dallas…

Las Vegas – Bug Free Mastermind

Checked into The Palms Spring here in Vegas and here for a week!

I was here chiefly for the Annual Bug Free Mastermind and since we arrived early, we visited the Grand Canyon via the Sundance heli tour. (something that I didn’t get to do on my first time here 6 years ago)

View was breathtaking – literally!

Also got to go to the shooting range at Battlefield Las Vegas, to shoot my dream gun – the MG42!

Some shopping at North Premium Outlet (and wow the prices were premium too)

One day before the Annual Bug Free Mastermind began, we were treated to a Zappos HQ tour.

Followed by the main event for the next five days – packed with Conference Hall presentations, parties and dinners…

I didn’t attend all of them; I was sick on the first two days of the event and because I don’t drink that means you won’t find me at the pubs and bars. Still got out some good connections from the event nonetheless.

We ended the Vegas trip with a visit to the Old Strip, Fermont Street and watched the Penn and Teller live performance (second time for me!)

Next stop: Los Angeles revisited…
