New Musemancer Office

We should have moved to the new office premise earlier last month. But as you know, there are times that things don’t go according to plan.

So imagine my relief when the private lift access was repaired and restored after 6 weeks of waiting and chasing in between.

This has sped up works and just in the nick of time (our Tenancy Agreement at the previous unit expired earlier this month) my staff and I had moved everything to a new, bigger place!

There a few outstanding renovation works and touching up, and we moved in a hurry to be fully operational.

So what’s different?

The new place is bigger (1,800 sq feet vs 1,064 sq feet previously)

Somewhat unconventional, but we have our own private lift access – which was also the source of a lot of frustrations; we are literally the first occupant in this side of the Tower and the lift had not worked… until we came about.

Now that are past the speed bumps, here’s what the new Musemancer looks like.

Thanks to WeBuildEasy? team for their amazing work!

It will be close to 3 years since I’ve started a full-time team and office, and looking back.. we sure came quite a way. The best part is: there’s still MORE to come!

Office Warming Party will be in October, to coincide with our 3 year anniversary.

I-City – Red Carpet, Trick Arts, Rides, City Of Lights

It’s been a couple of years since I visited I-City. And wow, a lot of changes since… all good ones!

For starters, there’s a new Red Carpet Wax Museum – new to me at least; it wasn’t here before. The Wax Museum prides itself as being the only animated wax figure museum in the world (although it appears to be limited to just the few figures at the entrance)

But I have to say the amount of things to see here is generous, and even better than the Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong!

Checked out the Trick Arts Museum too. Been here on every time I came here. I’d say only about 20% changes since then – nothing much though.

Next stop: Snow Land. Quite some changes since. The maze had been bulldozed and what I think will be an Egyptian theme part of the place is under construction. The place is overall brighter and well lid this time.

Went around I-City to check out other places and mostly watch the rides rather than get on one. The whole place operates by a card points system, that you have to purchase from any of the Ticket Counters here. The card is then used for entrance to rides, museums, exhibitions, and more.

It’s somewhat surprising that even though I-City has more to offer since its introduction a few years ago, the queues for rides weren’t that long for a weekend. (Of course, a good thing for me… nearly no wait time!)

This is definitely the place to take your girl to for a date or outing!

Tandem Paragliding At Bukit Jugra For The Second Time

Yep. My second time in two years!

This time I drove to Bukit Jugra with Alyssa. Our pilot was Rahim, an experienced paraglider since 2004.

It was a hot, sunny Saturday but wind and weather was good for flying and we didn’t wait that long.

Also, I came prepared with my own GoPro cameras so we didn’t have to wait to download/upload the videos (that was what happened previously with a bigger group of friends – we finished the paragliding early but waited several hours for this)

It was good fun and peaceful up there, nice and relaxing flying experience!

Videos we took…

I had uploaded some videos and photos on Instagram Stories and Facebook, and a few friends already expressed interest in doing it too!

I think I’ll be back again sooner than I thought! 🙂

It’s Good To Be Back

And a different ride for the year, after being without a car for two months.

(By the way, either my parking skill is terrible or it’s really narrow for the car to park inside…)

UPDATE 2nd June 2017: Had the brake pads replaced, iDrive and map updated, and installed the M Sport bodykit (front bumper, rear bumper and side skirt)

I am going to enjoy this ride for while!
